(More customer reviews)My wife an I love this t.v. We have it in our bedroom and love it's compact size and great picture. It took only minutes to get it from the box to viewing. It is very easy to navigate through the on-screen menus. The only draw back I have seen is the remote. I had to return the first one I bought because the remote quit working. The replacement developed the same thing after two months. I called philips and they were very helpful and sent out a new one. I also bought a universal remote at best buy for 10 dollars (also by philips) since then not a problem three months..

Philips 20PF5120 20-Inch Flat LCD TVThe 20-inch Philips 20PF5120 LCD TV is a great addition to a small room, such as your kitchen, or for cosily watching movies in your bedroom. It can also double as a PC monitor with its VGA video input. It has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner for standard television broadcasts. It features Philips' Crystal Clear III video processing, which combines a whole range of enhancements to provide a better picture, including a dynamic contrast, blue stretch and green enhancement for the most natural looking colors. This set includes a tabletop stand, but it's also wall-mountable with optional kit (VESA compatible).
The 20PF5120 has a 640 x 480-pixel resolution, 160-degree horizontal and 120-degree vertical viewing angles, 16 ms (millisecond) response time, a 450 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and a 500:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) It has three screen format adjustment options: 4:3, 16:9 compressed, and 4:3 expand.
The 3D comb filter separates brightness and color signals better in 3D domain to eliminate cross-color, cross-luminance and dot-crawl distortion. It performs field-by-field comparisons of the television image to accurately separate the color from the black-and-white information and remove both horizontally and vertically hanging dots, as well as dot crawl, resulting in a razor sharp image.
This TV has two built-in stereo speakers that produce 5 watts per channel (for 10 watts of total power). Philips' Incredible Surround audio technology dramatically magnifies the sound field to immerse you in the audio. Using state-of-the-art electronic phase shifting, Incredible Surround mixes sounds from left and right in such a way that it expands the virtual distance between the two speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the stereo effect and creates a more natural sound dimension--without the use of additional speakers.
It includes a DVI-D input for uncompressed digital RGB connection from source to screen. By eliminating the conversion of the digital signal to analog, it delivers an unblemished image. Thanks to the non-degraded signal, you get less flicker and a clearer picture. The DVI input is fully backward compatible with HDMI sources, and also uses HDCP copy protection.
