(More customer reviews)I needed a car charger for my iPod. I looked at products that were specifically for the iPod, which were in the $40 range. My family also has cell phones that need to be charged in the car, so a combo USB and FireWire was a good solution. I also bought a FireWire cable and paid around $20 for everything.
I'm using this in a Prius. The owner's manual warned of possible interference between the charger and the input to the sound system (since they are located together). I have not noticed any interference.
