Firewire Retractable Cable Review

(More customer reviews)The design of this device is ingenious, but it doesn't work. Devices are initially recognized by the operating system, then disconnect randomly. Replacing this product with a normal, non-retractable cable fixes the problem.
FYI I.Link is just 6 pin Firewire with the two power pins removed and a smaller connector (thank you Sony for another pointless proprietary version of a perfectly good standard).Rather than this device, you should get a regular 6 pin to 4 pin Firewire cable, which come in six foot lengths typically.

You can not detach the base case with the AC Adapter. If you were thinking that you could use this with micro USB, you can not. This is only for mini-usb.

(More customer reviews)I bought a brand new Pentax W90. The battery charger that came with the camera was a cumbersome thing with a long cord. Little camera with big charger. Not good planning. First thing I did was to find a more convenient charger. This one seemed to fill the bill. No long cord, prongs built in. Also had a car adapter for those road trips. Bought blind, but don't regret a moment. Seems well made, and charges the battery without any problems. Cannot ask more than for the product to do what it was designed to do. Besides, love the product name .. WASABI POWER. Going on vacation soon, perhaps I'll do an update.

APC TPC1300B 1300 Cu In Travelpower Case Review

(More customer reviews)Well of all the laptop cases I have seen this is the FIRST that doesn't fold open 180 degrees. If you look carefully at the photo you see that all the zippers stop about 2 inches from the bottom of the case. So it is not possible to use the laptop while it is in the case. I thought this was a really neat idea in that all the cord clutter would be contained as the case has an integrated power supply. I was expecting to be able to flip open the case and work with the lower half of the laptop still inside. But since you have to take out the laptop to use it then pull out the power cords it kindof defeats the purpose of integrating the power supply.
That being said the power supply looks to be fairly well designed. I haven't had a chance to try out all 3 power sources (air,auto,home) yet but it will be less clutter. Fortunately the power supply is removeable (its in the rightmost pocket in the photo). So as long as you consider this to be equivilant with the 'Juice' system with a free bag it isn't that bad. I would bet if you got the smaller case advertized for $80 than you are even better off as that would be cheaper than the Juice system.

(More customer reviews)This is a little pricey, but I don't regret the purchase now that I don't have chargers plugged-in to every outlet in my kitchen and chargers everywhere. Amazon sells different gomadic kits. I made a list of all our devices and noted which Tips they required (gomadic website has a list that helps with Tip selection) and then chose which kit to buy based on the Tips that matched our fleet of electronic gadgets. This system is brilliant - you're not stuck with pre-set connections like a lot of other charging stations. You can buy other tips for a few bucks. I ordered an additional Tip because we had two phones that use the same Tip.
The ONLY small downside is that the rubberized deck where the devices sit while being charged is a bit of a dust magnet, but if you brush it off regularly, it's not a big deal.

(More customer reviews)This item is a joke. the only thing compatible about it with the batteries it claims to work for is the fact that the batteries fit on the charger. The front of the charger claims to be for a cannon bp-808, yet when i insterted a bp-808 with 21 minutes charge left on it, ten minutes later i checked the battery and it had only 2 minutes left. when i tried to recharge the same battery again the charger immediately indicated a full charge. now the battery that was 1 week old when i tried to charge it will not go above a 70% charge even with the camcorder charger. not only did i waste my $18 on this product, but now i have a brand new $80 battery that won't fully charge, and my warranty on that battery is void because i used this pos charger. this charger has cost me as much in replacing a damaged battery as i would have paid for the cannon charger, so do yourself a favor and order a charger from cannon. this cheap chinese knockoff will only damage your equipment and leave you replacing expensive batteries.
