(More customer reviews)This item is a joke. the only thing compatible about it with the batteries it claims to work for is the fact that the batteries fit on the charger. The front of the charger claims to be for a cannon bp-808, yet when i insterted a bp-808 with 21 minutes charge left on it, ten minutes later i checked the battery and it had only 2 minutes left. when i tried to recharge the same battery again the charger immediately indicated a full charge. now the battery that was 1 week old when i tried to charge it will not go above a 70% charge even with the camcorder charger. not only did i waste my $18 on this product, but now i have a brand new $80 battery that won't fully charge, and my warranty on that battery is void because i used this pos charger. this charger has cost me as much in replacing a damaged battery as i would have paid for the cannon charger, so do yourself a favor and order a charger from cannon. this cheap chinese knockoff will only damage your equipment and leave you replacing expensive batteries.
