(More customer reviews)With my laptop and netbook power supplies, the power cord takes as much volume in my bag as the power adapter box itself. This short cord greatly reduces what I have to carry. Admittedly, you have to sit close to an outlet or find an extension cord, but I find that the (much thinner) low-voltage cord on the power adapter box is usually long enough. Particularly with a netbook that rarely needs to be plugged in, this cord is convenient!
For a Dell or other notebook that requires a three-prong plug, there's a similar short cord available on Amazon here: NOTEBOOK POWER CORD, C5 CLOVERLEAF PLUG, 1FT.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my HP mini 311. It fits the 11.6 inch screen snuggly. I can fit the power supply, cable, and a bluetooth mouse as well. The iPod pocket is useless for my iPod classic, but might be OK for a Nano. I use it to hold a bluetooth earset and a USB memory stick.
I chose this case because I wanted a shoulder strap. Over all I like it and would recommend it to anyone who needs more than a slip case.

Kensington K38047US Mobile Power Adapter with USB Port for Netbooks Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great replacement charger for Asus eee series netbooks. It's a third the price of an OEM charger, and only a few bucks more than some of the chargers from questionable sources.
I gave it four stars instead of five because it's slightly bulkier than the OEM Asus charger. The USB charging port is probably worth the extra space in my briefcase.
As far as the one-star reviews go: One is from a person who bought this for a full-sized notebook, NOT a netbook, and another is from soneone who had a new netbook that needed a tip that wasn't available yet. (Kensington now sends it for free, per the product description.) The third is from someone who says it died within three months... but it carries a two-year warranty, so getting a replacement shouldn't be a problem.
UPDATE January 6, 2011: HOLY COW! I was planning to buy a couple more as spares, but I found the price had skyrocketed from the $13 and change I paid to $42. Wish I'd purchased those spares long ago.

(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a suitable replacement or extra power supply for the Asus 1005ha this product works great. I have been looking for an additional charger (one at work, one at home) for the Asus 1005ha and I finally found one. I was tempted a couple times to purchase other power adapters but reviewers had stated it was the wrong size, fell out easily, or had other negative comments. This adapter had not been reviewed yet, but looked similar to the original power adapter.
While the adapter prong that plugs directly into the netbook is approximately 1mm longer than the original power adapter it slides in completely. There is a little click when you get it all the way in. The adapter connects securely to the netbook and will not fall out(same as the original). The netbook goes into AC mode as soon as it is plugged in so I know it is recognizing the adapter. The rectangular box, with the led on the adapter, is the same size as the original. The only difference is it has a green led light instead of the blue. This is a suitable replacement and a good purchase.
As a side note I purchased this adapter through "Power Adapter World." Free shipping, and it arrived in a couple days.
Update 12/22/2010:
10 Months later and the power adapter is still working as it should.

(More customer reviews)The adapter that arrived says "Dell" on the bottom, but the voltage is the correct and the jack fits perfectly into my Acer Aspire One. Although it was not in the image, it did come with the cord connecting the power adapter to the wall as detailed in the description. I would have given five stars, but both the cord from the wall to the adapter and the adapter to the computer are quite a bit shorter than my original Acer adapter. Otherwise, it works just fine.
