(More customer reviews)This double case does what it is advertised to do. Both drives will access off of one usb connection and the connection speed is acceptable. I have two 500GB drives connected to my computer via the case. The fan is a tad noisy, but nothing unacceptable. My only real minor gripe has to do with the drive fit. They seem less than snug making the connection to the case less than ideal. It seems that if the case is tilted forward the drives will come loose. It feels like they are moving when this happens. I haven't actually tried this when the case is attached to the computer for fear that a quick disconnect will damage drive or computer or just make me irritable, but when non-powered the drives seem a little loose in the case.
Someone with a little more daring; give it a try with the power on and report back to the rest of us.
