(More customer reviews)Well it works regardless strong smell of plastic I've experienced when I first time plugged it in. I was charging original Sony NP-FP50 battery. Charger got hot and started smell for 10-15 minutes. I took a chance and left battery in it. The indicator turned from "red" to "yellow" then "green". In last stage charger wasn't that hot as at first. Smell almost gone. Battery was charged. I Put it in my Sony dsr200 camcorder and it shows 105 min for recording. If it wouldn't smell like it gonna burn I would give it 5*. Charging time was about 1 hour.
