My camera came with the original charger but it was misplaced around the house and then of course from using my camera so much the battery finally gave out. Which is when I had to purchase another one. This charger ended up being 10x better then the original one (which I found after I recieved this one). The charger has the capabilty of charging in the car and that's exactly what made it worth the buy. Great deal!
