(More customer reviews)I inherited a Maxtor OneTouch external hard drive from a brother and bought a cheap power supply for it on Amazon ASSUMING that I could go with the cheapest adapter that supplied the correct amperage and voltage. WRONG! The aftermarket adapter for an ASUS netbook had a slightly different plug. This one, on the other hand, does the trick. Trying to save three bucks cost me ten, and I lost a week in the process. Don't make my mistake. Start with the right cord the first time.
