I needed a spare battery for my Nikon D40x, so I decided to go with this, and these batteries performed better than I expected. I ended up getting a battery grip (Targus Digital TG-BGD40 Battery Grip for Nikon D40/D40x/D60), so these were also perfect for that.
The charger worked great; I never had any problems with it. It feels a little cheap, maybe, but I'm not concerned about the appearance/feel of a charger as long as it works. I love that it comes with a cord to charge it in the car.
Great purchase. Especially great if you're planning to get a battery grip.
