(More customer reviews)At first I was very hesitant about trusting a cable so inexpensive. But, being on a tight budget, and trying to build a make shift "woodshed" to study music in, I needed SOMETHING. It's going between my midi capable keyboard and my computer to use under CubaseLE4 with some VST instruments. Plugged in the cable connections as directed, tinkered with a few settings (read the tips at the end), and everything worked beautifully. Very inexpensive, and does exactly what I was looking for. Not much more I could expect than that.
Tips:
#1. If you're setting up your computer to use midi instruments, with a cable like this, uninstall any USB devices with audio capture on it (i.e. a webcam). When I first installed this cable, NOTHING would recognize my keyboard being attatched. It took me about 4 hours of trial and errors and some googling to find out that my Logitech webcam was preventing the cable from being recognized as an audio input. So, uninstall that stuff first, THEN try using the midi cable.
#2. Once again after hours of trial and error, and some googling, I found a catch with CubaseLE4. If you're using midi to make drum tracks, guitar tracks, etc. (Kore Player, EZDrummer, etc.), you have to add the channel as a VIRTUAL instrument, NOT a midi instrument. I don't know why they changed it in LE. But, I do know that it was a confusing lock out for me. Hopefully I saved someone a little frustration.

(More customer reviews)I bought a unit with trepidation, not knowing what to expect when I would get it home and get it set up. I anticipated many disappointments. However, on the contrary, I am totally jazzed. Not only do I get a great stand for my 17" HP, (box say for use with 13 to 15 inch laptops, but I'm using it for my 17" laptop and it is stands great), but to get a really cool, slim wireless keyboard, a tiny mouse, a ipod docking/charging station with built-in speakers. The speakers are powerful on AC and also work well enough without using the ipod's battery. The wireless adapter for the keyboard and mouse is tiny compared to the monstrosities I tried and returned before.
This is definitely a sleeper out there. I got it for $85.00 and couldn't believe the deal. Figured I would be disappointed and return it. Casio AD-1 Power Supply for SA75 Review

(More customer reviews)Amazon's advertising for the Casio AD-1 Power Supply is a little confusing because the transformer appears with its correct model number AD-1 along with text that indicates it's for the Casio SA-75 keyboard. However, above that line of text it also appears as image next to a picture of the Casio SA-76, with a plus sign between them suggesting that they go together. Unfortunately, the jack end of the Casio AD-1 power supply doesn't fit into the DC 9.5 volt port on the back of the SA-76 keyboard, so I couldn't use it.
I contacted the seller and they told me the correct transformer for the Casio SA-76 electronic keyboard won't be available from Casio until December.
