(More customer reviews)It's not the HP-brand DL606A, but instead an off-brand adapter from China. It works--but the power block is always hot. What I dislike is the cord from the block to the laptop is shorter than the HP-brand, so where my laptop rests on a dresser it is stretched to reach.
The good: It does work, and it is cheap. Note--It does work with my Compqaq Presario C751NR laptop.
The bad: It is an off-brand, and the powerblock runs hot.

While the replacement adapter was a little lighter in weight, it worked right out of the box and has continued to work without any problems for the five or six weeks that I have had it.

(More customer reviews)This product is compatible with my HP mini 210-1010 laptop. It is cheaper than the HP website 59.95, only negative is that on the HP website it has a 1 year warranty and on Amazon it only has a 30 day warranty. Since I needed the charger the next day I chose the cheaper route, (most people do not have problems with chargers but I usually have a lot of electronic problems). Nevertheless if I did not need it the next day I most likely would have purchased the charger from HP because it had a warranty.
UPDATE: 1/11/2011- Charger is still working fine.

(More customer reviews)This is my third power cord. The one that came with my HP Compaq 6710b started having problems long ago and had to be retired. I ordered a third party replacement that ran VERY hot and towards the end started making a very disturbing popping sound. I was hesitant to order another HP cord but the first one took much more abuse than the second, so I figured I'd stick to what gave me the best results. This one is working fine and hasn't presented any "quirks" that I've come to expect from these cords.

It runs very cool for my laptop (unlike another off brand charger I bought that would literally burn your skin) and it has a very lord cord which is so helpful. It seems to be put together very well and not cheap-like. Would definitely buy this again if I lost it or accidentally broke it!
