(More customer reviews)I received a Hitachi DZ-BX35A camcorder as a gift but it didn't have a battery charger. I was kind of leery of ordering this battery charger because of the cheap price tag, no reviews, and the "one-size-fits-all" style of the product but once I got it I was not disappointed.
The unit charges in 2 pieces. The first one is the cord you decide to use such as the car and wall adapter and the second is the charger itself which houses the battery. The car and wall adapter both have a red LED light built in and they light up to show they are connected. The charger also has an LED light that turns red when charging a battery. When fully charged, the LED turns to green. There is also a European plug adapter included but there are none of those around here in Kansas so I didn't get to test it out. If that sounded a tad too complicated, it's as easy as: 1. Connect the cord to an outlet. 2. Connect the cord to the charger. 3. Put your battery in and charge.
Included was also a screen protector. You have to cut it out to the size of the screen but this is made easier because there is a grid on the screen that assists you and is removable. Be sure to not expose the sticky side until just before you install it because it's like a magnet to lint and even one single lint piece can cause a bubble to appear on your screen protector.
Shipping was quick and there wasn't any problems.
Bottom line: I recommend this product. This product charges the battery and also came with a screen protector. An excellent deal for under $20 USD.
