(More customer reviews)I bought a mixer-grinder in India and brought over to US and realized about the difference in voltage and the difference in plug system. The mixer I bought was a milti-purpose one (apt for the Indian kind of cooking. No mixie in the US would be helpful for the Indian variety of cooking, that was the reason I had to bring all the way from India.
I searched every where for the converter (best buy, staples, Radio Shack and walmart), but every one was just showing me a adopter plug for US to Europe plug system (not costing less than $35-$45 after tax). No where I could find a real voltage converter. Then I found this product in Amazon and wanted to try it. This Item is a super performer and price is reasonable. Finally, I am able to use the item.
One additional and important thing which I liked about this is... when I called Bombay Electronics to inquire about this product they were very patient and knowledgeable about the product and explained very clearly about what wattage I am suppose to take and stuff like that ...I am thankful to them.
I would suggest anybody to buy this with out hesitation.
Only disadvantage I found with this item is ...its little big on my kitchen counter top, occupying more space.
