Because the voltage can be changed, it is best to buy some super glue and glue the switch once set to where you want it so it does not get moved accidentally and burn up your laptop. And also make sure you have the polarity (+ -) set correctly. If you do not understand these things, get someone who does and have them do this for you. You can fry your laptop if you don't know what you are doing when you use this.
