The charger itself is more compact than the original Nikon charger, and it is a snap to use. Pop your battery in the charger, put the charger in a power outlet and wait for the charge light to go from orange to green. Couldn't be simpler. The fact that the plug on this charging unit folds flat back inside the unit means that it is super easy to store and a dream to carry when traveling. Exactly what I needed, in an affordable and easy to use package. Would purchase again and recommend to friends and other Nikon users.
