(More customer reviews)I have the same problem - the tip of my Kensington adapter has failed. I'm more than a bit skeptical of Kensington's design seeing as there are apparently no moveable parts inside and the connections that failed are encased in half an inch of plastic. And now, 18 months after I bought the adapter, Kensington is selling a new, "improved" version with incompatible tips. Is this planned obsolescence? It is a plausible conclusion to draw, at least.
