(More customer reviews)While, in line with its description, it is in fact, light weight and compact. However, I would question anybody selling a cable that they tie lead weights to, or make out of 1 inch diameter cable.
It is also accurate that this cable is ESSENTIAL for your camera, because Samsung has felt the need to create a new cable for their connector, instead of using one of the many available (and some would say even MORE "compact") USB standard connectors. What was wrong with USB Mini-B? or USB Micro?
Regardless, if you don't have a media card reader on your computer, this is the cable you need to get pictures off. Also, it works. But thats to be expected, as its just a cable.
