Using this there also required an adapter for the main plug (as the plug this comes with is not the kind used in Israel), but along with the adapter this power strip worked very well. As others have mentioned this is a bit bulky; six separate adapters would definitely be less bulk. But this power strip does allow you to plug in 6 items and only take up one wall outlet, so that's why you would get this. Also you must remember that the power this supplies is still 240V, so you must ensure that all of the things you want to plug into it are 240V compatible. I found that all of the things I wanted to plug into it were indeed both 110 & 240 compatible (laptop, iPad/iPod, cell phone charger). Just check every item beforehand for voltage compatibility and you'll find this to work well... if you can afford the space it will take up in your luggage.
