(More customer reviews)I'm going to Australia and New Zealand, so I bought this adapter to use with my camera and cell phone charger. The photo shows an adapter that handles polarized plugs (with one blade wider than the other, like you see on a hair dryer), but the item I received does not handle polarized plugs. This is OK for me, because none of my devices use polarized plugs. Also, make sure to look at the fine print on your device to make sure that it can handle the Australian voltage (230 VAC, 50 Hz). If your device can't handle the high voltage, then you'll need to buy a heavier, bulkier, more expensive transformer-type adapter.
