(More customer reviews)Charger is well designed, specs: output DC 8.4V / 600 +/- 50 mA, dimensions 3 5/16 x 1 7/8 x 1 1/2 inch when folded. The actual wall plug is side flip type. Unit comes with additional straight bolt Central Europe adapter included and will auto adjust for 100V / 240 V input. Connectors for battery are made from copper as the should and the only problem is that blades were not 100% finished; it would work sort of fine but with help from strong magnifying glass and small needle file to finish edges and round off the corners, those are perfect fit now and battery loads smooth. The car adapter is excellent, with right angle plug and strong wiring, unlike some cheap ones made of solid wire nonsense that break inside after couple of months. This unit's cable feels nice, sort of like good quality USB cable, also connection springs and tip of car plug are easy and good fit. The only thing missing to make it perfect is LED indicator on car plug and second output 7.2V on the charger unit for actual direct connection to the camcorder like from Panasonic original charger. The LED light on original Panasonic charger will also go away when battery is full, but on this unit it stays on all the time as it is only indicating connection to input. It is not a big problem since it goes to trickle mode when done, but it might be nice to have second LED indicating battery status. Those additional options should certainly increase the price somewhat, thou I personally wouldn't mind. Anyway, this is good spare compact charger, but most of all something required if traveling by car with the camcorder.
