My whippet chewed up my original power charger for my 4820tg. I had to quickly order a new charger, but I figured I might as well get a nice smaller one since I have to.
I saw this and was skeptical because of the no reviews. But since it had Amazon Prime shipping and was designed to work with my laptop anyways I went ahead and ordered it.
When it arrived I was not very happy that it came with many little different plugs. This allows it to work with a wide range of laptops. But there is no instructions to tell you which one fits. So I tried a few of them and most of them didn't fit. I narrowed it down to 2, one fit alright but was a little loose, the other fit good but it sparked!
I figured the one that fit loose would be good, so I stuck with that. That combined with the fact that there was a faint buzzing sound coming from the small power charger had me thinking that this thing was not good.
I decided to let it charge for a little while and see how it did and I am happy to report 2 months later that it is a fully functional charger. I have no real complaints besides it fits a little loose into my 4820tg. But it is small, attractive, and can potentially be used with other laptops. I would say this is a good value product.
So buy with relative confidence. I've had this for over 2 months and my laptop has been charging fine and playing portal 2.
